Book:
We provide you with a time window, usually within a few hours. We need to know how many backflow devices are on site so that we can schedule appropriately.
Testing:
It takes us about 20 minutes to test and do the required on site paper work per backflow device.
Repairs:
If a device fails, we take it apart and clean it. If it fails again we replace the bad check valve. Cleaning and or /check valve replacements take approximately 30 minutes per device as we also need to retest the device after. If the device fails, we must have it back up and operational within 72 hours. Typically we can replace the parts on the device, however sometimes it makes more sense to install an entire new device. If we can not meet this schedule, we need to let The City of Calgary.
